Izvoarele Nerei
The forest area is one of the largest untouched virgin forests of temperate Europe, bordered by two inaccessible mountain ridges separated by river valleys. Brooks rise from small swamps. The pure primeval beech forest with occasional fir and sycamore showcases a pristine biodiversity.
