Groșii Țibleșului

The two component parts are embedded in an extensive woodland area. Here in the Eastern Romanian Carpathians, unique primeval beech forests in pure and mixed stands have been preserved on volcanic rock. These primary forest ecosystems display pristine dynamics with a complete diversity of animals and plants.
