Uholka-Shyrokyi Luh
Uholka-Shyrokyi Luh contains the largest contiguous primeval stands of European beech world-wide. It is only here that the entire spectrum of all phases and development levels of primeval beech forests can be found. The largest section of the property is situated on a massive limestone formation with well-developed karst. The karst caves are home to several endemic and rare animal species.
